On October 16, 2024, price and package changes for various Atlassian products will take effect. These changes affect the prices for the cloud versions of Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Opsgenie, Bitbucket, Atlassian Guard (formerly Atlassian Access) and Compass.
Below you will find an overview of the upcoming adjustments and what they mean for you.
Price adjustments
The prices for the following cloud products and plans will be increased:
- Jira, Confluence and Jira Service Management: Standard, Premium and Enterprise Plans
- Opsgenie: Essential, Standard and Enterprise Plans
- Bitbucket: Standard and Premium plan
- Atlassian Guard: Standard plan
- Compass: Standard Plan

Important details for Jira Service Management customers:
- Shifting features: Most Incident, Problem and Change Management features will only be available in the Premium and Enterprise plans.
- New consumption-based pricing models: Asset management and communication with the virtual agent will be moved to the new pricing model. New limits for the use of assets and the virtual agent will be introduced for Premium and Enterprise customers. If these limits are exceeded, additional costs will be incurred.

- Standard customers: Some features will be available exclusively in the Premium and Enterprise plans from October 16, 2024. Customers who have used these features in the last six months will be subject to a transition period.
- Transition period: Customers who are affected by the upcoming changes and have used these features will be granted a transition period of 12 months by Atlassian. This begins after the next contract renewal on October 16, 2024, so that there is sufficient time to adapt to the new conditions.
